1967

In 1967 Dan O'Neill Sr began his extensive engineering career working with Carpigiani at S.C Cummins Ltd. There he worked alongside ice cream legends such as Sydney Sr, David Cummins and Bryan Whitby. This star-studded beginning paved the way to success enabling Dan Sr to branch out on his own.

1987

In 1987 dreams became a reality and Kadian Refrigeration was born. From a make-shift workshop in the garage of his family home Dan O'Neill Sr took the plunge and bought the premises that we still trade from today.

Over the next 30 years Dan Sr gained more knowledge and experience than anyone else in the business, rating him as one of the most highly sought after soft ice cream machine engineers in the U.K.

2006

In 2006 Dan O'Neill Jr began work as an apprentice engineer. After a lifetime immersed in the trade Dan Jr hit the ground running. It quickly became clear that he would follow in his father's footsteps in both reputation and credibility.

2014

We were approached by an agent from IceTeam1927 in 2014.
Dan Sr's success and experience in the trade partnered with Dan Jr's ability and future in the industry secured our partnership and we became the only U.K's only distributor of IceTeam1927's soft ice cream machine range.

2016

After almost 50 years working in the ice cream machine industry Dan O'Neill Sr has taken partial retirement, proudly and confidently handing over his legacy to his son Dan Jr.
